Gift basket for ICU staff

Hi. I am doing a preceptorship on the ICU and I want to make a gift basket for the staff. I am going to give something to my original preceptor, but so many of the staff members have been extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgable that I want to do something for them too. I don't know what to put in it. I was thinking some calipers to read EKG strips, but I have no idea where to get them. I was also thinking about some good lotion(any suggestions?), teas, coffee, and some tasty goodies. If anyone has any great suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks so much!

I do gift baskets for all of the units where I take nursing students. I buy a cheap woven basket and fill it to the brim with individual packts of snacks: reg and low fat. 100 cal packs, popcorn, tins of nuts, those individual Pringles cans, miniature candy bars. Seems to be a big hit. My cost is usually about 24 dollars per basket.

Hope that helps!

I love getting gift baskets at work! Remember to get small enough things that everybody can get something (like a bag of candy spread at the bottom). Sometimes, there is one or two large things, and nobody knows who's gonna eat it. Also, you can't beat fresh fruit in the baskets!
