Generic MSN programs?

Can anyone provide me with any advice for people with non nursing degrees applying to Generic MSN programs? I live in Northern CA and there are four programs int he area that offer this (1 is a Generic MSN and the other 3 are either entry level NP programs or case management programs. Have any of you been through one of these programs? What other states have these programs? I already have a B.S. in another field and don't want to get another B.S. but I really want to be in the nursing profession. Any advice would be appreciated.
