Even if it isn't legally required, it seems like a good idea. You never know what you're going to walk in on, especially when you're visiting people in their homes. Even if you have to pay out of pocket, CPR training isn't terribly expensive. Be sure to ask your employer about paying for it, or finding someone to offer the training to your coworkers as a group.

Can anyone tell me if a mental health ACT team is required to hold BLS credentials? Everyone on the team go into the community and visit clients in their home, PCH etc. I would consider them to be healthcare professionals regardless of licensing requirements.
