Computer used everyday

As a retired ICU nurse, we were just starting to use computers in the hospital when I left. But as a home health nurse, my computer has saved a lot of time. I bought a program called Omniform. With a scanner I have been able to keep up with all my forms. My schedule is easy week to week and setting up the program has been easy to keep my charting in check. I know that my patient charts are correct because I have been able to set up the program to not let me forget any of the forms that I need to fill out for Oasis. I also use Dr. C.Everett Koops Drug checker to check on interactions. I send a copy to the Doctor and often see a change in medications after he recieves the interactions list. Charting on the computer has given me more time with my family.
