I applied for the upcoming spring semester.:) I'm nervous because it's been about 2 going on 3 weeks since the application was due

Hey there!!

Im so excited I got a response! Dont worry about the time that is passing, in the follow up emails confirming that you submitted the nursingcas and supplement application it said it would be 4-6 weeks before they let people know about interviews.

This is my 2nd time applying.

Last year I got an email for the interview on september 16th. I hope that sharing my experience with you can bring you some peace!

I applied for last spring, GOT AN INTERVIEW!! I didnt get in, BUT im not giving up!

Thank you soo much! :) I hope we both get in! I applied for spring 2017 last time. I was really heart broken when I didnt get in, so I decided to retake the 2 ranking classes I had a "C" in.

Previously my ranking classes looked like this

A&P LECTURE (3): C LAB(1): B

A&P2 LECTURE(3): A LAB(1): B

MICRO(4): A

CHEM(4): C

I retook chem at utep and anatomy at EPCC.

A&P(4): A

A&P2 lec(3): A LAB(1): B

MICRO(4): A

CHEM(4): B

Anatomy at UTEP was tough, my instructor was a doctor in another country!

I was in a car accident when I was 15/16, have TBI and being a nurse has always been my career goal! I haave kept pushing even when I struggle.

If i dont get in this time, i will retake the hesi and try again and apply for fall 2018! >:)

I was thinking about retaking my A&P classes. I'm nervous about my stats.

A&P 1: B

A&P 2:B

Micro :B

Chem: A

Nutrition :A

I'm taking pathophysiology this fall. Those are my science core, and I have about 8 months of healthcare experience. I also scored an 86 on my hesi. I'm so anxious, I hope we both get in so we can be study buddies :)

And if you don't mind me ask what was the interview process like, did they email you specific dates?

Yea! So they emailed me saying i was picked for an interview on october 7th and i went to the supplement application and picked my time slot. They gave me all the instructions i needed including where to park :)

Where were you able to submit your application?...i could never find it on NursingCas :/ ....what name was it under? All the best to you all!!
