Galen student needs help with continuing her education

hello,

i need everybody's help with that post. let me start by saying that im a lpn i will be graduating from Galen school of nursing (St-petersburg, fl) in May 2009(Alleluia!!!!!!!) from their RN program. at first i said to myself, no more school. i was done. but since im getting closer to graduation date i really dont see myself not doing anything after that. so i started doing some research online. i would like to get my BSN asap and hopefully my Master.i would like to know if there's any schools out there onlline or on campus (prefers on-campus) that offer adn to bsn or adn to master.(out of state is ok) please let me know. please keep in mind, not all the universities or commnunity colleges will take Galen credits.

please help me find a good school.:bowingpur

While I am unsure what schools will take your adn Galen credits there is one thing you should consider. Your school counselor shoudl be able to tell you exactly where your credits will be transferable to once you graduate. I for instance am in an ADN program through Kaplan University. Kaplan is a private university as I am guessing that Galen is. I have been informed by my advisor that after grad I will be able to transfer my credits toward a BSN at either Kaplan University Online or University of Phoenix. I will be choosing UOP because they are accredited and therefore I can pick where I want to go after that for my MSN. The best advise I can give you is to talk to your advisors and just tell them your long term goals. It is thier job to help you acheive and plan for your career goals. Hope this helps.
