Hello,
Has anyone done the online Galen college of nursing RN to BSN with HCA? How were the classes and assignments? Was it mainly papers? How long did the program take? Again this is the RN to BSN! I'm already an RN.
Did HCA really pay for ALL of the tuition, or do they find some way to not pay for it? Debating if I should do Galen so HCA will pay for it or just pay for it on my own with Capella.
TIA

I also would like to know how the classes and assignments are?? I have just enrolled and begin Oct 25. So far it's good. There haven't been any red flags. You just use the HCA education benefit website to sign up for direct billing. The only thing I have had to buy are the books.

How has the learning experience been so far?
soooo, I have taken 3 classes now. Yes HCA pays directly. It's easy and hassle-free. You do buy your books, but honestly, I've just been using my old nursing school books instead. You write papers and do discussion posts. Sometimes they ask you to make a PowerPoint presentation or other type of project. The school is good with communication. The work is graded easy in my opinion. There are no tests. Taking two classes at once was a little much in addition to working full time, so I changed to only taking one at a time and that has been better for me.
