Which is more difficult and why/how?

My personal choice is Galen. I looked into Allied but it wouldn't work for me because I have completed all the prereqs and didn't feel like I should have to take a final exam to receive credit AGAIN for my classes. So Ive been pleased with Galen I start Nov 7th

oh wow, i didn't know you had to take a final again for a transfer credit- that is ridiculous. i went through galen lpn program and loved it. undecided about where i am going for bridge. are you going in for lpn or rn?

Yeah I told them the same thing when she said it and there was slience! Im doing the LPN-RN Bridge, at first I was afraid because I will be driving some distance. Im just ready to get it over with!

yeah that is insane. Galen is worth the drive, you are going to get a great education. Get a tape recorder that way you can listen to the lectures on the drive home. I was driving 45 minutes daily to get there. Let me know how you like it. :nurse:

Is there a reason that you dont want to do Galen's bridge program besides the million dollar tuition? I will also be driving 45minutes

Hey sorry for the delayed reply, i havent been on the site recently. I loved Galen but I have a job already and The Center for Allied Health & Nursing goes to school Mon-Thurs never later than 230pm. Galen was 5pm some days and always Mon-Fri so not as flexable for my job. If you have any questions about my experience w/ Galen, fire away! :redpinkhe

Do you know what they look at in the background check? I had a DUI 7 years ago and am worried that it will be a problem.... :(

Hi everybody I go to the center for allied health I did my lpn there and I'm almost done with my rn there. I work and have a 2yr old daughter and I love it. Every school has ups and downs but as I see people struggle at other schools I'm happy I picked allied. Also I know someone who had a dui and they were able to go get their license. Any questions please ask

I graduated from the Center for Allied Health and Nursing with my LPN and will be graduating in Feb from the RN program. There are so many positive things to say about our school but to start off the school is much more than just a school. Its like your second home :) Anyone who has been to nursing school knows just how hard it can be and attending a school that is concerned about your education as well as your happiness in all aspects of life is very refreshing. The instructors really care about you on a personal level!! Not only do they push you to pass with nothing lower than a B but they motivate you to get there!! The growth I've had at the school in just a few years has made me the nurse I am today!! Not to mention our school has one of the highest passing rates of the Nclex in both the LPN and RN program. They prepare for passing your boards as well as real life practice.. Im very thankful and proud to be a graduate from Allied!!

Your main goal is to pass the nclex and get your license if you don't do that all of this is for nothing go online and check pass rates. There you will find your answer :)
