Future career path

hi peeps. for my future career path i am considering working with pregnant women or perhaps newborns. if any of you have experience working in these fields could you please tell me some of the pros on cons for you? something you really liked about the job and something you really didn't like. thanx so much!

something i like:

it is always new and refreshing for my soul to be in the birthing room! it is so neat, the excitement in the room of the baby being born is like a rush that we all have at the same time. so intense and it is in the air. very hard to describe like desribing an orgasm or how you feel at your most proudest moment. all i can say is it is unique to the birthing room and everyone in the room feels it! sort of like the most intense rush you ever had, that is relived for several days after the birth when you think about the birth or tell people about it. and you will have that uge to tell everybody. same if it goes bad you will have the need to vent!

something i do not like:

when it goes bad it is very bad! i really do not need to expand this with a rationale, right?
