:yawn:Hi my husband has been selected and we know where we are going. I am a planner and we have not been given a timeline from our recruiter. We have been waiting for his commissioning into the airforce. He is currently a captain in the army reserve. He also has been in for a while and finished his bsn in May. We are wondering how much longer it may take for the commissioning,and then orders. Our EAD date is August 1 but it is now the 4 and no news. I know i am being impatient, trying hard not to. We started the process in April and he was selected in June. Can anyone help to clarify some details about what to expect next. We have 2 middle school kids and we need to know if they will be starting school here or our new post. I have already gotten most of the prep work done for moving and am running out of ways to keep busy. Will he need to do the npt if he has already been a nurse and an officer for 5 years? any advice is greatly appreciated. I am so ready to move on and get settled. I also want to be in school this fall. School starts there on Sept 7. God bless our military!
