@Logan Newberry, Last year they sent out email interview invitations a couple days before the deadline up to a week after the dealine. I think they may also send out more emails if people decline the interview but I'm not positive about how that works. Interviews last year were at the end of January and first week of February.
the school has just released a new youtube video promoting the nurse anesthesia program.. it got me so excited !
So I heard they receive about 200 applications
they interview 70
they accept 24
It's a very competitive and coveted program..
It's the only one within the area, meaning to say SRNAs will not be competing with other SRNAs from other programs for cases. nor will they be competing with anesthesia residents. they actually have upwards of 10 clinical sites to choose from - from Pensacola all the way to Fort Lauderdale
According to COA (council on accreditation for CRNA education), their last graduating class had over 1000 cases and almost 3000 hours under their belt - now that actually beat the clinical experience hours of many of the 'best' schools. look them up yourselves.
And it's super affordable compared to other schools.
Class of 2022 will be the last Master's prepared class.
The class starting in 2021 will be a DNP cohort.
Good Luck !
