Frustrated/just wanting to vent a tad

So I start my last year of nursing school on the 8th. In our program we have to sign up for the lecture and skills lab and then we are assigned clinical. We were told last September that if we wanted to switch labs it was our responsibility to find someone to switch and it had to be done before the first week of lab (which is the second week of school). Well someone in my class wants the lab I have and vice versa, so I emailed the lab coordinator. First she wanted to know why, then she said we each had to send an email request, now a week later I get an email saying she is holding off on the swap until she speaks with me (probably the other person too). I tend to worry alot (too much) and now my mind is racing. I do not want to start off on the wrong foot with this new group of professors and honestly didn't think the request was out of line. Maybe she was getting bombarded with requests or something.
