Frustrated and confused and need advice

I was working as a student nurse at a hospital and in March learned that I was eligible to graduate in August instead of December of this year. I told my manager and she offered my a RN position when I graduated and I accepted it. Six weeks before I graduated, I found out that she was fully staffed and could not over-hire on the unit if other units in the hospital needed people, this also happened to another nursing student on the floor as well. I understand the hospitals point about not being able to over-hire on one floor when others need people, but this put my in a position to try to find a job.

I went on a few interviews the first week of July, and didn't hear anything back until just this week. Between the time I interviewed and the time I heard something back, i continued to apply for MANY jobs online. I also completed my capstone which was in the ICU and I realized that I really want to be in the ICU. I had an interview for a critical care floor that I LOVED and she said it would be a few weeks until i hear something back because she had a lot of interviews to do. I was told that I would hear back by the end of this week. I had to call the nurse recruiter several times to get her to answer me and she said that it wouldn't be until next week now. This week I was offered a position on one of the floors i interviewed for, and told that recruiter i would get back with her by the end of the week because i'm waiting to hear something back from the ICU floor first because that is where i really want to be. She told me to get back with her by the end of the week, which was fine b/c i thought i was going to hear back from the ICU by then... but didn't. I also interviewed for a different ICU floor this week and they said they would get back to me shortly (who knows when that will be). I shadowed a nurse on the floor where i was offered a position and I decided that I wouldn't like it and it wasn't a fit for me. I called the nurse recruiter on friday to talk to her about the position i was offered, but she never returned my message.

I really don't want to work on the floor that I was offered a position, but I don't want to be jobless either. There is no guarantee that I will get either of those ICU jobs if I turn that other one down. But i'm also afraid that if I accept the position that I don't want, then I might be offered a position i do want and will be stuck where i don't want to be. ANY ADVICE???
