Looking for some info for those that went to FNU. I have applied for Spring 2019. I am in NY. I know we need to go to Frontier Bound in Feb if I am accepted. Does anyone know....
1. When do fees have to be paid?
2. Where do you fly into (I am in NY)
3. Does Frontier have shuttle from airport?
4. Are classes 4 full days (meaning I would need to fly in day before)?
I know i have some time but plane tickets are not cheap and Im trying to prepare!!

Hello!
I graduated from frontier and passed boards in June, so I can answer some of these. :)
1. I can't remember exactly when the fees are due, but you need to pay them before you can register for frontier bound ( housing, shuttle ride, etc. ). When I went, which was May 2016, I believe the total was between $500-600. Once you are accepted, you will receive an email explaining everything.
2. I would recommend flying into the Lexington airport as it is about 2.5 hours from the school. Also, the school does offer a shuttle service that will take you to and from the airport. I believe you have to be at the airport by 2 PM on the first day of your bound week in order to catch the shuttle. I highly recommend it. I took it and I got to meet a ton of other students in my class. I believe the shuttle fee was around $75. They will also take you back to the airport on your last day, but plan a late flight as the shuttle leaves the campus around noon (I think).
3. See above keep in mind that frontier is actually moving their campus directly to Lexington, so depending on your bounds date you may not even need the shuttle service. :-)
4. You should get a schedule pretty quickly about bound, but like I mentioned above, when I went, I had to be at the airport by 2 PM the first day of bound to catch the shuttle. I couldn't find a flight that would get me there by two without me stressing about the time, so I made the choice to fly in the night before and stay in a hotel in Lexington that had a free shuttle to and from the airport.
Hope this helps! Some stuff might have changed because it's been a couple of years. Good luck to you and keep us posted! It's a fantastic program!
