Front Range Community College (FRCC) nursing applications

Published

Hello! I'm currently a new student applying to the FRCC nursing program and was wondering how it's going for anyone else or if there is any input or suggestions from people in the program or currently applying. I've been super stressed because of how competitive it. Any help is greatly appreciated:)

Hey! I just applied to the fall 2025 semester for the nursing program at front range. I'm currently anxiously waiting for the application window to close on Friday so we can hopefully start to hear back soon :/ It's so hard to wait! LOL

I know I'm so excited for it to close, but for me it's just if my score is even gonna get me in. I'm so unsure I'm gonna get in, I've got such mixed comments on my chances and I'm just so confused at this point. It's kind of discouraging

I feel that! I've been overthinking everything since applying like even stressing if I submitted it correctly even though I've double checked it more than a handful of times haha. I've seen so many different scores get in and it's so hard to know how many people are applying

I totally get that, the wait is TERRIBLE, but I mean if you did your best on the HESI and you got a good GPA you will definitely get in, which campus would you want to go to?

I applied to the larimer campus, what about you?!

Hi!!
I just applied to the Larimer and Westminster Campus programs, I figured this would double my chances. I did pretty good on the HESI, kept a 4.0 through my prerequisites and have sone extra bonus points for extra courses and previous experience in healthcare.....I am still freaking out though!! The wait is killing ne and my anxiety is through the roof! Good luck with your application ☺️ I hope we both get it.

I feel like ever since the application window closes, I keep checking my email just waiting for something to show up but realistically it's Spring break and we might not hear back this week🙈 sounds like you have a great chance of getting in! I wish you the best of luck too ☺️ if I hear back, I'll post here!

Yall will most definitely get in with those scores holy cow!!

applied to both campuses, 4.0 GPA but I only took dietary nutrition and have 2 in progress courses for micro and anatomy 2, I got customer service experience and (Mayyyyybeeee?) healthcare experience as a lifeguard, pretty good HESI score I would say, but my total is 88.70 without healthcare experience and 90.88 with the healthcare experience if they accept it, I really tried I really hope we all get in, it's such a competitive program

has anyone heard anything back? im unsure as to when we get emails

Haven't heard anything yet but on my Reddit post, someone said the Westminster nursing Director told her it would be around April 7. I'm not sure if it's the same for Larimer as well.

Yall, I am dying for news haha. My total points are like an 87 because I'm in-progress with three classes, so I feel pretty borderline. Good luck to everyone!
