Unless you are just someone that CRNA schools can't turn down, take the first opportunity you get. Front Loaded programs have their pros and cons in comparison to integrated programs. I know several people from an integrated program. I am in a front loaded program. The thing about an integrated program is that you will probably get more cases than a front loaded program, but you have to go to clinicals knowing that you have a test that you have the next day. If it were me, I would be on the first train out. The sooner you start, the sooner you graduate. It's going to be tough on you and your family either way it goes, but it will be worth it.

I am currently looking into the University of Minnesota but it starts clinicals the first semester. It is only a 24 month program which would be nice but I am a little worried about having clinicals so soon. I like the idea of front loaded didactic programs but the timing at U of M is right for me and my family. Does anyone have any input on programs that throw you right into clinicals. I would especially like some first hand experience if anyone has it to offer. Thanks.
