Cute thing happened at the office today, and I just had to share!

I am pregnant, it's summer, and I am little stressed due to some family issues right now. My face looks like that of a teenage boy after a french fry and chocolate binge!

One of my pts today came in to be seen for a rash. She is 6, and had a bright red rash head to toe. While I was chit-chatting with her prior to doing my exam she exclaimed, "You have a rash on your face too!"

Not thinking (or realizing what she meant), I contradicted her, "No, I don't have a rash."

She then said, "Then why do you have all those red bumps all over your face?"

Trying not to laugh into her very serious and concered face, I said, "Oh, those are called pimples. Grown ups get those sometimes when they get really stressed out or work a lot!" :chuckle

Did I mention that I LOVE being a PNP? Totally made my day. Though I didn't think my face was THAT bad. Maybe I should get back on my routine skin schedule again!
