Free SANE training- interest?

Published

Hello,

I work for a hospital-based program of forensic nurses. We are applying for a federal grant that would endow us with funds to provide SANE training, free of cost. The training would include both adult/adolescent and pediatric SANE training, clinical preceptorship, a skills lab, and a mock court. For those already trained as SANEs, guidance and advancement toward SANE-A and SANE-P certification would also be offered.

One of the goals of the grant is to ensure that there are trained SANEs in undeserved areas. While we are located in MN, we intend to offer training in areas that are reachable by nurses in ND. We are trying to gauge interest in this training as a part of the grant application.

If you are currently an experienced registered nurse in ND and are interested in this training- could you please send me an email at [email protected] (or a personal message here) that includes your location, as well as the number of other nurses you think would be interested. Also, please pass my contact information along to any other nurses who would be interested, so I may get obtain further information from them.

Thank you for your time.
