Hey all!
So I applied to the Fraser Health New Grad program at the beginning of March, and have since updated them with the information that my provisional license is in place and I'm set to go. They confirmed that they got that info and then I haven't heard a PEEP out of them since. Anyone have any experience with this? It's frustrating because I can't even apply to other FHA jobs and I'm left feeling a little unsure of what to do next.
Thanks for your help,
Sheila Allenbach

Fraser Health has been very slow in recruiting new grads since the beginning of the year. My friend heard back from Vancouver Coastal a month before Fraser Health so she accepted a job there.

At least 2-3 months. The fastest way is for the unit where you had your preceptorship to contact HR and speed up the hiring process. It also depends but some of the units like surgical units at smaller hospitals have a low capacity for hiring new grads as well.
Hmm. Well I guess it's encouraging in a way. At least it doesn't mean I haven't been totally ignored! ?. I applied March 1, so I guess I can't expect anything yet.
