foreign nurse with unilateral hearing loss

Hello my name's Maurizio, I'm an italian nurse , I'm just graduated but given that in Italy there is no job I would like to leave italy and work in UK.

I have an Unilateral Hearing Loss ( degree severe in the right side with a normal hearing on the left) .

My english is not very well , I have a problem to understand... I would like to know if I move to UK May I have a problem to learn english .

I ask you if there is any foreign nurse with my same problem , to know if he/she has solved this problem or not

Hi, Maurizio.

I live in the United States, not the UK. So I can no help you there. But I wanted to respond to your message because I am also completely deaf in my right ear, but have normal hearing in my left.

I was already a nurse when I lost my hearing in my right ear -- and English is first language. So I did not have the same problems that you will face. But I wanted to wish you "Good luck" with your move to the UK. I hope you find the help you will need to make that move a success.
