Hi everyone! I'm a registered nurse from Taiwan and I recently passed the NCLEX-RN under the California Board of Nursing. I'm now hoping to endorse my license to Georgia and eventually work there — but I've run into some confusing parts of the process and would love to hear from anyone with similar experience.
A few questions I'm struggling with:
1. Georgia requires proof of 500 practice hours in the last 4 years — has anyone had international RN experience(I have four years of experiences as an emergency department nurse in Taiwan) accepted for this?
2. Do I absolutely need CGFNS for Georgia? California didn't require it when I applied, so I've never done CES or CGFNS verification. The Georgia BON packet doesn't clearly say it's required for endorsement, but some posts online seem to suggest it might be. Would love clarification!
