Hi everyone,
I graduated from japanese with a bachelor degree front nursing college in japan and have worked for 5yrs now.
Now, I'm planning to become a nurse in US and hopefully will work any states.
while I've been searching, I found there would be two options for me and I'd like to get some advises from you for my career path.
These are my situation
*I'm eligible for sitting nclex-rn exam of NY (not pass yet)
*I have no BSN and ADN in accredited nursing schools and no experience of practice in US.
with those, there are two option that I'm thinking
1.Starting from ADN→BSN/MSN
2. Apply to RN-MSN pathway program after passing NCLEX-RN
I heard that it's really difficult to get into nursing program and waiting list in many colleges. It also will take 1 or 2 yrs or more that I have to wait to start nursing program....
I'm searching the way to work as a RN with a shortest, not that expensive and rewarding way for my career.
Hope anyone give me good advice:)
thank you

Hm - I dont know what to tell you. The best bet is to try to get your degree to transfer, applying and being accepted to nursing schools is such a hassle with all the different requirements and tests and waitlists. I suggest you find someone who has done the same as you before and ask them for the best course of action.
To redo your degree - it would seem sort of unnessary at least from my prespective. Definitely get in touch with someone from the certification board or someone who has been in your shoes and let them tell you what the best course of action is.
