focused assessment

does any one have notes on doing a focused assessment. I have to do it for our instructor in my last semester. I believe I understand it however, no one has ever gone over this with us.

You need to be more specific about what body system you are looking to do a focused assessment on.

I am not sure what body system I will be focusing on for the assessment because she has not told me what day I am due to do the assessment. So that is why I am nervous. Like I am sure it will be focusing on either cardiac or respiratory system. I have done a million head to toe assessments, but was just not sure what I needed to due for the focused assessment.
