I am very passionate about adolescent medicine, but I’m not sure if it would make sense to become a PCPNP or a FNP to work in this capacity. Any thoughts?

Good question. FNP you can treat birth to death and PNP you can only treat birth to age 21. Think about the longevity of your career you may want to open up an IV hydration clinic, or start your own women's heath HRT practice and would need to go back to school to do anything with adults. I like the one and done motto myself and its cheaper. You have so many options.
