Hello all! I am needing some advice… I just had a baby over the Summer and he is almost 3 months old. I am starting back to clinicals (2/wk) and work (part time) this week. I am having a hard time with all of this and just wondering if it’s worth it anymore and if I should continue on or quit and spend time with my baby. I know that if I quit I will not go back, and I currently have 4 more semesters out of 9 left with 165 clinical hours each semester from here on out with a graduation date of December 2023? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don’t think you should quit and I say this because you’re already deep in it by completing  5 semesters already. I know it’s hard but it will definitely be worth it in the end! Congratulations on your baby and good luck ❤️

awww...Taking care of a baby alone is hard enough. But if you quit right now, the time and energy would be wasted, and the tuition ? once you graduate, you would have more time to be with your family, and. you don't have to work overtime to make the same amount of money.

I don't think the current high nurse salary would be sustainable. NP is better, money wise at least, and the time you spend with your family probably would be more.

I hope you stuck with it, Momma! Rooting for you!
