Just curious, why did you relocate to El Paso, TX? Try the Candelaria clinic and ask to speak to their NPs. Also, try Dr. Behren's- El Paso urgent care. I would just call all the clinics and ask if they have a NP and ask to speak to them. That is what I did when I needed preceptors in my area.
Hello BebobthefrogFNP[COLOR=#000000],
Congratulations on your accomplishments!
Thank you for the advice. My practicum rotation does not begin until June; however, my applications need to be submitted before the end of January.
I assume that this means my paperwork process will be as time consuming as yours (or worse).
Thank you for your help,

CallieNicole,
Thank you of the advice. I will try that.
I relocated because of an opportunity to work with very flexible hours in my specialty area (EP).
Relocating was a blessing to my family because working and school did not allow much quality time in my previous work setting; however, it did cause new challenges for my practicum locating.
Thank you again!

Hello,
Please help me!
I have been an ICU/cardiac care nurse since 2005. I am currently attending an online FNP program.
I recently relocated to EL Paso, Texas from Florida.
I am in desperate need of a NP preceptor that works in a Family Practice setting.
If you, or anyone you know, may be interested in becoming my preceptor, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for reading,
Christy
