I'm sure you know that getting accepted into the program is done by points. Micro and lab, A&P2 and lab if I can recall correctly are worth the most points. I would suggest that you speak to a counsler so you can plan your classes to your advantage. I went to someone in LW, I can't remember her name though, sorry. For me, procalc wasn't that difficult in the beginning.
Yea I know of the point system thats why I plan to take all my prereqs before applying and keeping my gpa up..I just finished looking up the best teacher on ratemyprofessor.com so I'm trying to make sure its a sure thing that I get accepted, I don't want there to be any reason for them to deny me:eek:
I'm also going to go into the Generic RN program. I'm shooting for Spring 2011. I'll have all the pre/co-requisites done by the application deadline, except for maybe the humanities elective....but I'm going to try and knock that one out also. Have you taken any classes yet? For the requisites, I've gotten ENC1101 and SYG2000 completed. This semester I'm taking DEP2004, and PSY2012. In the spring, I plan to take A&P1,CHM, and Nutrition. In the summer, I'll take A&P2 and Micro. If I feel I can handle it, I'll take a humanities elective during the spring session.
As for A&P teachers, I can say that through AllNurses and friends, I've been advised to take Professor Ramsammey (sp?) if possible and to steer clear of Columbo Constantino (sp?).
