I thought since the deadline is approaching it might be worth starting a topic about this cohort!! I think I scared myself about my chances reading older posts about FIU on here, so I'm just trying to distract myself

Hey I applied for Spring 2025 as well. We should be receiving letters in a couple weeks. I'm anxious about my chances too, what were your stats?

Hey I applied too. 

My stats are 3.68 GPA, 83 TEAS (88 science), 126 volunteering hours.

What were yours?

Hey we have similar stats! My GPA is 3.7 but it was a little lower according to NursingCas, 86 TEAS (88 in science as well), and no volunteer hours. I don't have any volunteering hours but those should definitely help!

I think it's good enough for us to get in, hopefully! 
How were you able to see your calculated GPA according to NursingCas?

I agree fingers crossed! When you're logged in click "Check Status", Download Application, and scroll down to Calculated GPA

Hi guys!

I applied for Spring 2025 as well. Can someone chance me? my stats are a little lower than a lot of peoples that I've seen so im soo nervous :( please be brutally honest. 

GPA: 3.53

TEAS: 80% overall with a 90% in science

EXTRACURRICULARS:

-FIU Honors College

- 350 Healthcare Volunteer Hours

- I have worked in the ED for 1.5 years

- Pre-health student organization 

- CPR Certified

- 3 letters of recommendation

Hi guys,

I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out because I haven't heard back yet about my application to FIU's BSN program for the Spring 2025 cohort, and I'm feeling a bit nervous seeing that some people have already received early emails. Here are my stats:

 GPA: 3.79
TEAS Scores:
    •    Overall: 77.3%
    •    Science: 95.5%
    
Volunteer Experience: 108 hours at a healthcare clinic

Any advice or insights you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Hiii, did you end up getting into the program? I'm asking because I'm applying for fall 2025 and we have very similar stats!
