Float LPN - Salary/Evaluation/Feedback ?s

Hi all,

I have been an LPN since 2009. My first job was in the express unit of an Emergency Room for 2 years.

I started working for a very prevalent University in Michigan as the only float LPN for all of their ambulatory care clinics.

I have been doing my job very well, hearing the different MDs and RNs at the clinics I float to that I am doing a very good job and they wish they could keep me. As of today, I have floated into 19 different LPN jobs (including gen med, peds, obgyn, GI, rheum, neph, gen surg, allergy). I have my 1 year evaluation coming in March and I wanted to bring up the topic of a salary review. I am not sure how to go about this, and I'm not sure how I would even justify it.

After speaking with an office manager at one of the clinics I float to, she told me that the float department doesn't ever email them or call them seeking feedback - so as far as my manager is concerned I am doing "ok" since she has received neither negative or positive feedback. My salary right now is $38,000/year, which I think would be a very fair salary if I worked maybe in an inpatient unit, but since I float to 19 different clinics, including specialties, I feel like I should get more (also figure in all the gas money I'm spending).

Any advice?
