FIU BSN-DNP Spring 2022 Program

Hello Everyone 

I wanted to make this post to see if there are any other applicants to FIU (Florida International University) for the Spring 2022 program. Maybe we can start a trend and support each other through out the application process. I just put my application in for the Psych DNP program waiting anxiously to be called for an interview. Would love to hear everyone's experience and process. Good Luck!

    Hello I received an email stating they will be interviewing first week of October. Anyone receive an invitation yet for an interview?

    GPA of 3.63 BSN from SDSU

    2 years in ICU (minimum exp that they look for, I know :C)

    First GRE last month:

    Combined GRE: 327    Quant 170  (96th %ile)   Verbal 157 (75th %ile) AWA: 4.0 (54th %ile)

    Planning to retake the GRE next month aiming for 330+.

     

    First attempt GMAT: 770 (99th %ile) V: 44/ Q: 50/ IR: 6

    250 Hours of volunteer service at ymca LOL

    I Have good letters of rec/references.

    Do not have CCRN cert

    40 hours shadowing Nurse anesth, but I will get more before next app period.
