First year nurse

On a friendly basis would one of the first year nurses define HEALTH for me, to enable me to include a statement in one of my activities for Nursing Context 1: Health Perspectives.

I would be grateful if a nurse could participate.

Many thanks

Cheers

Hi

The World Health Organisation defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

I am also a 1st year nursing student and this definition has been drummed into us since we started:)

You could also go to the WHO website http://www.who.int/about/en/...which may be helpful for your assignment...
