So today was my first day of orientation!! And it was ok. Lol. I say that because we watched videos 95% of the time, which I expected. After those, we had a quick tour of the facility and did some paperwork. The whole day was only 6 hours long. It should've been longer us an extra day of more videos, but the computer system with the other videos was down. Which means tomorrow may be my first day training on the floor. Im excited but of course a little nervous. I just cant wait to get the ball rolling! Before I left I went to talk to the DON about my schedule and there was a resident in her office who grabbed my hand and said " I like you." It was sooo sweet and unexpected, but it really touched me. Also the DON mentioned that its good because that resident doesnt like a lot of people. So Im happy she liked me right away. We'll that was day one! Now on to day 2!! Pray for me!
