Final placement in a rural hospital

Published

Hi! I'm currently in my third semester in a second entry BScN program. I'm thinking of doing my final placement in a rural hospital (31 beds total). 25 beds are acute and 6 are obstetrics. I'm worried I won't learn a lot or come across interesting complex cases that I would if I were in a larger hospital. Do you think this is the case? Do you think I should chose a larger hospital?

Thank you

Your final placement is an ideal chance to check out a potential future job. You should plan to do it somewhere you think you might like to be employed.
