Feeling good!!

I had my final eval for Med-surg 2 clinical today. I have loved loved loved this clinical and it all because I had the best teacher I have ever had. She is the most straight forward, no BS, no sugarcoat person I have ever met. She is very smart and very direct. She gave me a great eval and said that when I graduate I should e-mail her and she will "put her feelers out" to see if she can help me find a place to start out. I would love a recommendation from her because I really think that anyone who has ever met her would respect her opinion because when you are talking to her-- you KNOW you are getting her honest opinion!

:yeah:This is good. Someone feeling this good about their nursing instructor . I've had some instructors that seem to know the nursing game in&out, but @ the same time they say things that make me ? their teaching ability . I'm there to learn and I want to know what to do in the "REAL WORLD" of nursing

Oh, yeah. I have had a couple so-so instructors, one that made me want to quit, and 2 great ones! Hopefully everyone out there who has a teacher they want to complain about also has one they want to rave about!

I, too, had a very good clinical instructor this semester (my very first semester). I'm kind of worried about getting chewed up and spit out next semester since I've had it so good this semester! ;) Feeling good also because our grades were posted and I have 3 A's and 1 B for the semester! Wahoo! Now some time to rest up and get ready for next year. I suppose it will only get tougher. Whew. One down.
