Federal Correctional Nursing?

I have been working on the county level as a correctional nurse for a year now. It is my first job out of nursing school, and I love it. I want to go on to the Federal Level, but I know nothing about the qualifications and the steps one has to go through to get a Federal Correctional Nursing job. I've tried to research and ask around, but NO ONE seems to know anything. Does ANYONE out there know anything about this type of nursing and what it takes to get there?? PLEASE let me know. My research is producing nothing.

Did you look on the opm.gov website for federal jobs? It will explain the duties and qualifications that you need on the job posting.
