FCCJ Fall '09???

Anyone else planning on applying to FCCJ's nursing program for Fall '09? I figured we might as well start a "support group" thread of sorts for those of us who are. Never too early to start, right?

We thought the same thing last semester. They did not update your acceptance into the program until after your package was received AND you accepted your slot....and completed the paperwork.

Whew! Good to know! Boy, they really got us don't they?? LOL tick, tock, tick, tock

Does anyone know if I didn't update my information with an advisor to have listed in Artemis that I am seeking a nursing degree if that will effect my admission into the program. I just have Personal Enrichment listed as the degree progam. (I hope I make sense)

If I'm not mistaken (and I sooo could be, LOL!), that is the catalog you came under. That way once you choose your program, if changes are added (i.e. prereq requirements) you will be exempt from the changes. Does that make sense? Hope so!

Having said that....I have NO idead if it effects your chances of getting in. If you've completed the required courses and have the points I wouldn't think it would matter.

I was just reading the posts from fall 08 and I can't believe they got their letters JULY 9TH.....But yet they're giving us fall 09 applicants the biggest run around saying it could be the end of July or first of August. This has just gotten to be a little ridiculus but I keep telling myself that good things come to those whose wait.

LADIES THERE OUT AND IM IN!!!!! I decided to wait and join and im glad i did cause im officially on the road to becoming a nurse. By the way my name is Tiara.

BTW mines is dated JULY 23:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:

oRIENTATION IS August 17, and deadline to accept is July 30!!

I feel so stupid and excited at the same time. I just posted how frustrated I was and then went to mailbox and there it was. I'M IN!!!! I can't believe I finally got my letter :yeah:!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you that requested to know I live in Duval and had 209 points!

Hope you all get your acceptance letters and we can start our journey!!!

I believe my points were either 187 or 190, im unsure! lol It may even be higher but I cant wait to meet all of you. We only have a few more days to relax then its time to get super serious.....:redbeathe, i think im nervous! LOL :uhoh3:

Congrats!!! Can you tell us what the points are on the acceptance letter? I didn't get my letter yet but had close to 200. Also when is the first orientation? Thanks

TiaraRN2010 what county do you live in??

Only the ones who were not accepted will know what the cut off is, my acceptance letter does not say anything about points. The Orientation is August 17, 2009 8:30-4:00pm, this is the only orientation day! BTW I live in Duval, 5 minutes from campus!!
