  1. It was 160 if I'm not mistaken (threw away my letter already, LOL)!!!!
  2. Im in duval
  3. I'm unfortunately the first to post the point range ;( The cutoff was 190.72. Good Luck to all that have to apply for the Spring :) BTW, There were 568 students that applied to the program this fall (wowzers!!!)
  4. Do you mind sharing your point total??? TIA
  5. I called this morning and was told that they will not give out the cut off for points over the phone. It has to be done in writing. what???? Anyway, I guess we will have to wait for someone to get their "denial" letter...unfortunately!
  6. If I'm not mistaken (and I sooo could be, LOL!), that is the catalog you came under. That way once you choose your program, if changes are added (i.e. prereq requirements) you will be exempt from the changes. Does that make sense? Hope so! Having said that....I have NO idead if it effects your chances of getting in. If you've completed the required courses and have the points I wouldn't think it would matter.
  7. Whew! Good to know! Boy, they really got us don't they?? LOL tick, tock, tick, tock
  8. I also called today. She told me that the letters are on some persons desk waiting to be approved. She said they DO know the point range but they didn't tell her, ugh! Hopefully, next week.
  9. Jordyn117 and Koaskat....We are ALL in the same class!! :) Small world.....Kaoskat, I also got a 90! Woop Woop!!!
  10. I think you should be okay with that many points. I didn't think to ask any more questions. Just keep everything crossed that you will get in. I think this whole 10% thing is new this fall. Because on my application (I kept copies of everything), it says clearly that priority will be given to Duval and Nassau counties. NOTHING about 10% of anything!!! Guess with everyone questioning it, they are directing all questions to the Dean (that's what "Angie" told me when I called this afternoon). Guess, if one individual is answering all the questions, we get ONE answer, LOL! As for other programs, I'm not too sure. I was hoping to get into FCCJ for the fall or spring. However with all the people coming back to school, it's much harder because they all have experience and get sooooo many points!!! I was going to try SJRCC, but, they changed their point system effective fall 2009 also! So, it's going to be harder there as well! Well, I'm just putting my faith in God's hands and letting what happens, happen! Good luck to you!
  11. Since my application didn't say Baker or Clay counties, I called and spoke with the Dean. Yup! Sure enough, he said that quote "a selet seats are reserved for out of county students". He said about 10% to be exact. So, Im assuming that this is new! Good luck to all of you out of the county!
  12. I'm taking the NAT on Wednesday. Can anyone tell me what they thought were the most difficult questions in the Math and Science area??? TIA! Oh, also, if the Dean and President are correct and the Nursing Dept is wrong, I would think there would be a lot of upset PRIOR applicants (
  13. In response to Koloa........ Hi. I am in Duval county but did ask about the policy. I went to the North campus today and met with an advisor. I asked about the rumor of "no longer accepting applications from counties other than Duval or Nassau". She said that she heard of that last week, but that was NOT the policy. The policy is stated clearly on the application. Duval and Nassau are given first priority over other counties. Hope that helps
