Farmingdale State College Advanced Standing - Spring 2025

Hello, I havent seen a forum for this topic yet. Has anyone recently applied to the 3yr Advanced standing nursing route for FSC this coming Spring? How long does it usually take to hear something back? Did anyone receive notice that they made it through the first round of admissions?

Hi I went to Farmingdale too for undergrad in nutrition science  and was curious about the advanced standing, do you know the stats they usually accept. I have a 86 TEAS score

I had an 86 TEAS too. I'm sure it depends on the others that apply. How are your prerequisites and GPA in general?

GPA is not that great have a 3.0 because m I definitely had some horrible professors and struggles my sophomore year. Also, should I retake A&P if I have a C ?

I'm not in admissions obviously, but yeah, I would definitely retake it. Have you taken all of your prerequisites too?

Yes, it was included in my major I have a bachelors in nutrition science from Farmingdale. I graduated about 2 years ago

Hi I currently go to Farmingdale I just finished my first year and I plan to apply to the program during the fall. I was just wondering what your grades were like that got you into the program it your willing to share. I know that it's mostly based on grades

Prerequisites all A's besides one A-. GPA 3.9. TEAS 86. I've talked to some who were around 3.7 and got accepted. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions
