Doing fall inservice and tabs and bed alarm in service, need ideas anyone have any?

Yeah- get rid of the alarms!
Ya not going to happen right now I'm just the education coordinator not the DON so I don't get to make those decisions but I also agree

I was once told that my old facility was phasing them out due to staff becoming alarm fatigued.... A lot of the time I found my cna's not taking the alarms seriously or not responding fast enough because "mr smiths not moving and the alarms just going off". I guess a study showed the alarms didn't lower falls that much if any.
