Fall 2010 Classes!!

Having a strong support system when you have children is such a good thing. I know that if I am struggling I can call my parents and they will come and pick up my 3 children so that I can focus. Good Luck to you!!!!!!

My class load is relatively light compared to everyone else's schedule! My first degree actually started out in nursing before ending in Business so I had all but 2 of my pre-req's done. I took those 2 remaining classes online this summer so now it's totally nursing classes from now on.

I'm taking:

Nursing Fundamentals (Monday & Friday 9:00-10:00)

Nursing Fundamentals Practicum (Monday & Tuesday 1:00pm-??)

I am taking a&p 1 and college Math.

I droped chemistry because after hearing Everything on here about a&p I did think I could handle it with 2kids At home.

I start a&p aug. 21 and math the 23 rd.

clinical 6 credits) 2 - 9 hour clinical days

Nursing Science Seminar 1 credit

So 12 credits total, but I'm told that it'll still be difficult so that's why I CLEPed out of the year of American Literature I had left. Now all nursing classes. Good luck everyone!

Holy Smokes that is ALOT especially Chem and A/P!!!!! My advice, I would try and lighten the load. You've got ALOT of reading ahead of you!!

I am starting my final level of my RN program and my school doesn't give alot of information on what the classes entail, I only know that one class has to do with ethics and management, because it is the only book listed to buy. I am also very excited to start, mostly nervous. I had the summer off for the first time and feel like I should be doing some sort of studying, but then again my school is very secretive about its curricullum. If you haven't guessed already I go to Bergen Community in NJ, anybody have any tips for level four;)

I am only taking fundamental classes(algebra,adv reading,writing, nursing computers clas)for fall which means its going to be a easy. My spring classes is going to be chem with lab, Bio with lab, interm algebra,composition! Good luck everyone.

It's so interesting to see what everyone is going to be taking this upcoming semester. I can't wait to start. Classes for me start on Sept 7th. I'm going through a 20 month (with summers off) LPN course through my local community college.

1330 -1600 - Medical Terminology

Thursday

0830 -1600 - Intro to Nursing Concepts and Skills (lab)

Friday

0830 -1030 - Healthy Living

1045 -1230 - Anatomy and Physiology

1330 -1600 - Skills Theory or Lab Time.

So that's my schedule. I think it's a bit intimidating... but I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it. I've waited a long time for this and wish the next couple weeks would just hurry up and get here. I register and get my photo ID and whatnot from the school on Monday, so that'll be nice and then I have orientation from the 1rst to the 3rd of Sept. Until then it's just buying school supplies and checking out my books .

Oh and I start my first clinical the last two weeks of December before christmas break.

Everyone of these days I have to drive 1 hour there and back! But so looking forward to getting started! :) GL To all students!!

I am going to get my butt eaten alive. 8 classes but only 14 hours. I envy you guys with less classes..
