Fall 2025 Accelerated Nursing in Canada Admission

Hi everyone!

Making this thread for Fall 2025 Accelerated Nursing in Canada (I'm from Ontario!) so we can share where everyone has applied, if they have heard back, application process question, acceptances etc.

Currently I have applied to:

• UofT
• Humber
• MacMaster
• Western
• Queens
• Trent

No problem! Good luck on your applications. I'm high key scared, thinking I won't get accepted into any and might have to do the RPN-> RN route or similar.

I also had a question, for the OUAC application, did you opt to send transcripts immediately or end or fall or Winter term? I wasn't sure what to choose.

Hey, OMG girl you have to think positive and have some faith you will get in. I did not submit any transcripts yet but once I receive some marks for my prerequisites for this fall semester I will let you know.

Hey everyone, I just got accepted to the accelerated nursing program(2nd degree nursing) for fall 2025 at York u today! I only applied to Uof T AND York U

York u was my second choice but I will wait for u of t a little bit. Im good with york anyways. I applied middle November and uploaded transcript after a month.

Hey congrats!!🎊 yeah York is also my second option. Did you finish your undergrad or did you only complete 2 years of uni? I applied for a program change because im a York student but I did it in the month of dec.

I finished my undergrad long ago and a masters, was doing a career transition. Had all my prerequisites done except two still in progress but sent confirmation of enrollment though 🙂

Oh I see well done! yeah sometimes we pick a career/program that we are not happy in or sometimes we want to take our education a step further. Was the confirmation sent by email?
