So after a grueling 3 1/2 years of trying to pass this exam....I finally did......7x's it took me!
I will keep it as short as possible..Ive tried EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING(You name it, I did it). Maybe that had been my biggest problem. I was in a rush to pass it. I took it 3xs the first year 2014..2x 2015 and once 3/2016.
After the 6th time.I took one year off. I needed a physical and psychological break. Like everyone else, I was down and out. doubting myself. I began to sway away from nursing and started to apply for test to city jobs. Much of my classmates had stayed in contact and said, NO...Don't quit! I found myself in tears at times from the thought of quitting.
Oct 2016. I met an amazing tutor Name Michael Reid (thenclexcure). He gave me what I needed to study and stood by me the whole time. He made sure I attended his sessions. (Yes, He's pretty pricey) But if your like me and just are SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED, then you'll save every penny you have (Maybe a gofund me page).
I took his review and went back to content. He gives you EVERYTHING YOU NEED! I only studied his book and I went in depth with what he has for a review. If something is unclear or you need more information go on Osmosis.org and Medcram.com and NRSNG all these videos help. They give you the basics (cellular level) that help you paint the bigger picture. Thats what I needed. what I felt was that Nursing videos help, but the Medical Videos give you a visual along with the who, what, when, where and why its happening. I passed it 3/2017 @ 180 questions.
Okay...So please don't give up. If you have one bone in your body that still desires to be in the healthcare profession, please wipe your knees off and dust your shoulders and try again. If I could do it....You definetly can...
