I took my NCLEX this passing Saturday. The computer took me all the way to 205 questions. Did the PVT &went straight to the credit card page. Although I haven't gotten the official letter whether I passed or failed I know in my gut I didn't make it. My class mate &i have been studying together for 8 hours 5 to 6 times a week. We used the Pearson Review book and also attended Martins Review a while ago in San Jose. I wouldn't feel so discouraged if I walked in knowing I could have done more, but the fact that we went through those doors knowing we did everything we could to prepare ourselves leaves me wondering what else more could be done?
We work hard as CNAs for the past two years and found compassion for nursing somewhere along the way, and in between then up to now I've never felt so confused as to how her and I both didn't make it.
In regards to the questions on the NCLEX, I understand the system is an adaptive computerized test so I'm assuming I got unlucky and kept digging myself into a deeper hole with the questions.
STILL I am amazed at the stories I read on here on those who were top of their class and failed yet people who barely glimpsed at a review manage to pass. I am at a stand still &lose for words. Any encouragement or suggestions!

Keep your head up! Take it from me, a person who will be testing for the third time real soon. Its such a downer at first, but take a few days and relax your mind and get back at studying! You can do it!
Thank you for your encouragement! &good luck to you as well! I've had a week to detox from nursing &NCLEX and hoping back into studying full speed. I received my letter from the state and it looks like my classmate and I were almost at passing standard. Fingers crossed for all of us!
