The Exit Hesi Exam is completely ridiculous to me. It doesn't seem like a knowledge based exam to me. The questions seem very easy and its a matter of how good of a test taker you are. It depends on what hints and clues you can pinpoint in the question to help you pick the right answer. I'm so mad, this exam is not indicative of how much knowledge we know about the material. I just took my second hesi exam and did not pass. I know one girl who did not study at all. I know this for a fact because I know her personally and she has a lot going on with court issues and unemployment issues. Every time we studied together she would be on her computer focusing on other things other than the hesi. Today she took the exam and passed. Same thing goes for another lady I know who has a rigorous schedule with little time to study. Then there's another girl in class who studies religiously and always gets high grades in the class and can't break a score of 850 on the Hesi. Some advice given by the girl who passed and did not study was that excessive knowledge just clouds your mind and makes you over think the answer to the question. C'mon, I mean what's going on here, these test creators/designers need to reevaluate their exams. This is ridiculous and preposterous to say the least. Has anyone ever encountered a similar situation with your schools hesi and are there any hints to what resources closely resemble the questions of the exit hesi. Any info will help thanks.
