Excelsior - Straighterline - English 101 question

I’m almost done with my pre-reqs and I am currently taking English 101 through Straighterline. Per Excelsior, they said they are “unsure” if they will accept it. On Straighterlines website, it cites English 101 as being accepted by Excelsior.
Excelsior states “It May be accepted but probably not because I’m going into the nursing program. Feeling frustrated. Has anyone done this recently and it was accepted?
