Hello. I'm looking for some guidance here. I have been looking at Maricopa skills center's LPN program and I was wondering if anybody had any experience with them. Also if anyone has had any experience with Everest college RN program, that would be of help to. My main question about MSC is has anyone got there LPN and then bridged to RN and if so, how did the process go for you and, how long did it take. Currently I am torn between Everest and MSC (and then on to RN). I'm not really trying to rush things, I just don't want to get into something and then hit a bunch road blocks. I don't really want to pay a bunch for Everest, but if it is a safer, and less of a hassle I will. I have talked with both of the colleges and I had a better feeling with Everest.

Az is laying off - terminating LPNs from hospitals etc at this very moment-- They are on a all RN staff again. I worked as an LPN at an LTAC in Phx. I have 16 years experience from staff nurse to ADON, wound nurse etc. I was let go in Aug 2009 among others -- Why are you starting LPN first? why not go straight to RN program? a 2 year Assoc RN gets you the same job as a 4 years BSN -- think about it ----
