Ethics Paper

I'm writing a paper for Law and Ethics in Nursing class, does this sound like an ethics problem to you? I was asked by a friend I've known for 10 years for medical advice and I ended up telling him that I didn't have a license yet and that I was accountable for the advice that I gave. My options were: Tell him to go to an urgent care, Give him advice, or Give him advice and tell him to go to an urgent care and give him advice. I chose to give him advice and tell him to follow up with an urgent care if things got any worse and tell me how things were going. What do you think? Does this sound like a conundrum or nah?
