Here is information on the Teas for the LPN programs taken from Essex website:
Completion of ONE time Nursing Entrance Examination (TEAS – PN) in reading, math, science and English within 12 months of application is required. A score of 50 or above qualifies you to be considered for admission to the program.
As long as your test score is within the 12 month period, you should be good. Have you heard anything about the difficulty level of getting into the LPN program for Essex? I haven't applied for the RN program. I want to start with LPN first and later apply for LPN-RN articulation option.
I hope so lol. I read that too and there are so many contradictions when I called. I tried calling the office and heard two different answers.
Tbh I heard it was easier than the RN program. I know that 60 get accepted into the program. So far they are waiting for all the applicants to apply and in July we will hear if we qualify to take the TEAS
I also applied went thru with everything. I'm waiting to hear an answer. I have the lowest gpa needed and got a 66 on the teas. They said we should be hearing by June 20. But Essex county never do anything by the date they give out. I'm really hoping to get in. I will be applying for the lpn but I really just want to go straight to the rn. I already have all the classes just need the nursing classes and that's all. I can't wait.

Is there anyone other than me, lurking this board also applying for Essex county college LPN program for Fall 2017. I've read ever topic on this board related to Essex county but there doesn't seem to be much recent information on the program from current students or recent alumni. Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated.
