ER Nurse moving to San Antonio, TX

Hi all,

I will be moving to San Antonio within the next three months. I am an ER nurse with my BSN, CEN, BLS, ACLS, and TNCC. In February I will do PALS (never needed it before). As of March 201, I will have 4years nursing experience (all in ED). I've done some research on the hospitals in the area, but I'd prefer to hear from someone who has actually been there. I've found a couple of posts on here about San Antionio, but they are all at least 3yrs old (alot can change at a hospital in 3yrs. I'd like to know what I can expect as far as pay, benefits, nurse:patient ratios , even traffic in the area, etc. Anything you are willing to share would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
