Hi there
I work on an endoscopy unit in England, courses are few and far between but Key Med, in Southend on Sea are about the only ones doing regular endoscopy courses.
They supply Olympus Endoscopes and ancillary equipment and have been putting on regular, recognized, courses for nurses and technicians for years - you should be able to get info on them from the web.
If not get back to me and I'll try to get the address for you.
hope that helps - good luck
June
P.S. they do have overseas nurses on their courses

Hi, i have just registered myself in this website cos i thought it is great to share ideas and help people. i work in london as an endoscopy nurse and have just finished my foundation course for endoscopy-upper GI. there are lots of [endoscopy] courses offered here in the u.k. and they are accredited by JAG [joint advisory group-it is a body sponsored by several royal colleges such as royal colleges of physicians, radiologists, surgeons, and general practitioners]. i hope this is not too late for you to come over and check it yourself, and some of the courses are free! iam so thankful that thru these courses, iam now on training as nurse endoscopist for upper GI and would be able to widen my skills and knowledge and help improve the quality of care to the my patients!
if you want to know more, please browse this website "thejag.org.uk"
st. georges' hospital in [tooting] london is offering different courses, check it out too!
good luck!
